Transportation

Airport
The closest airport to Puerto Ayora is Seymour Airport (GPS) on Baltra Island. Baltra is a separate island north of Santa Cruz. From the airport, you'll need to take a short bus ride to the Itabaca Channel, then a ferry across to Santa Cruz Island. From there, it's approximately a 45-minute bus or taxi ride to Puerto Ayora. The total travel time from the airport to Puerto Ayora is around 1.5 to 2 hours.
